Kennedy INtorre
They/Them
Kennedy Intorre lived here and there during their childhood but credits Bellevue, Nebraska as the place they grew up. Kennedy discovered their passion for writing in the 8th grade after a lesson on Edgar Allen Poe, which inspired them to write several short stories. While in high school, Kennedy wrote a play called “We are Not Our Stories” for a playwriting competition. That play not only won over the hearts of all who saw and read it but it also ended up winning six awards including First Place in the competition. At the young age of 19, Kennedy self-published their own poetry collection about their personal journey and struggle with mental health. Aside from their passion for writing, Kennedy is also deeply passionate about animals and has been working with animals for the past eight years. Currently, Kennedy balances their passions for writing and animals with being a mother to three children, two rescue Pit bulls, and three cats.

Sarah Caro
She/Her
Sarah Caro grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. During her freshman year of high school, Sarah discovered her passion for writing and it has always stuck with her as something she wanted to pursue. She would later graduate from the College of Charleston in 2017 with a BA in Communication. While in college, she stumbled upon her need for travel through study abroad programs. She has been all over Central Europe: exploring the Alps and local breweries in Salzburg, Austria; running from the ticket checkers on the trains in Italy; and staying up all night just to watch the sunrise over the city of Prague. After graduating Sarah worked in film and television in LA and Atlanta as a humble production assistant, protecting pedestrians from exploding cars and wayward stars, but she still felt like something was missing. Upon leaving the entertainment industry, she decided that it was finally time for her to take the first steps in a career in writing, her first love.
